Applications

OSG designs and manufactures glazing systems for rail, tramways, and buses. Our transportation applications include windscreens, side windows, emergency hatches, cab sides, light covers, and display systems integrated into windows, partitions, and other transportation-oriented glazed elements. All are designed as complete systems and are available to OEMs as complete sets.

ScreeneX® for Transportation

Our proprietary ScreeneX® technology empowers smart glass elements in side windows and glass partitions. This breakthrough technology paves the way for advanced passenger information display systems (PIDS) and smart signage in mass transit and public transport.

Quality Assurance

Our state-of-the-art research and development facilities include an in-house ISO 17025-accredited testing lab for dynamic and kinetic tests. Production lots are verified to meet relevant industry and environmental transportation relevant standards. For rail and tramway glass, our products

meet leading standards, including ECE R43, ANSI Z26.1, BSI, BN 918511, UIC, DB, EN 15152, BS, FRA type I and FRA type II, NFF, DIN 6701, ISI, and the USA TIER 2 for windshields. In automotive glass, our solutions meet ECE R43, DOT ANSI Z26.1, and other major standards.
