The OSG Ballistic & Impact Lab (BIL) will be represented for the first time at Eurosatory 2026, Paris, June 15–19. Visit us at Hall 6 booth CD311 to discuss accredited ballistic and impact testing services for defense, industrial, and transportation programs.
About the OSG Ballistic & Impact Lab
The OSG Ballistic & Impact Lab (BIL) is an accredited testing facility located at Kibbutz Tzuba, Israel. The lab holds ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation awarded by A2LA – the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation – under Certificate Number 7208.01.
The BIL Lab has been in continuous operation for more than 30 years and holds a documented record of over 20,000 tests. It operates as an independent testing organisation within the OSG group, serving both internal OSG qualification programs and external clients in defense, transportation, and industrial sectors.
Accredited Testing Scope
The BIL Lab’s ISO/IEC 17025-accredited scope covers a broad range of ballistic and impact standards:
- Ballistic protection: STANAG 4569 / AEP-55, NIJ 0108.01, EN 1063, UL 752, VPAM, MIL-A-46100E, MIL-STD-662
- Railway glazing: ISO 22752, EN 15152, NF F31-129, NF F31-250, NF F31-314, FRA Type I and II
- Environmental conditioning: -70°C to +150°C, 0–98% relative humidity
- Fragment velocity testing up to 1,800 m/s
The lab is approved by the IDF for ballistic testing and supports testing for defense and industrial clients in Israel and internationally.
