OSG at EUROSATORY 2026

Eurosatory 2026 tranparent armor solutions by OSG

Combat Proven Transparent Armor Solutions

At Eurosatory 2026 OSG presents a selection of transparent armor systems that reflect decades of development, operational experience, and close collaboration with defense vehicle manufacturers and armed forces worldwide.

The display includes several armored windows taken directly from operational platforms. Some bear battle scars, others show results of extensive tests conducted at our Ballistic & Impact Lab (BIL). Rather than polished samples, they demonstrate something more important: how transparent armor performs when it matters most.

For OSG, this is the most meaningful way to present our technology — through real-world performance.

A Portfolio Built on Operational Experience

OSG has been developing and producing advanced glazing solutions for defense and transportation applications since 1979. Over more than four decades, the company has supplied transparent armor systems for a wide range of military and security vehicless worldwide.

Our transparent armor solutions are used across numerous operational programs, including vehicles operated by NATO forces, the U.S. Army and Marine Corps, and other international defense organizations.

This long-term cooperation with OEM vehicle manufacturers and end users provides OSG with continuous operational feedback. It allows our engineering teams to refine designs, improve survivability, introduce solutions addressing operator’s needs and support evolving protection requirements.

The result is a portfolio of glazing systems that meet ballistic standards, perform reliably under harsh environmental and operational conditions. And respond to user needs and requirements.

Featured Systems on Display

The OSG stand at Eurosatory will feature a range of transparent armor elements used across military armored and security vehicles and aircraft.

Among the items presented:

  • Crew Compartment Window
Side window protecting the crew compartment of an APC tailored for operation in harsh desert conditions, featuring combat-proven ballistic protection and high optical performance.
  • Armored Door Window for Security and Cash-in-Transit Vehicles
Designed for civilian security fleets, this curved armored glazing solution provides protection against ballistic threats while maintaining clear visibility for drivers and personnel.
  • Front Windshield with De-icing and RFI Protection
This system integrates de-icing functionality and radio-frequency interference protection to support the reliable and secure operation of command vehicles with sensitive onboard electronics.
  • Front Windshield – Multi-Hit Demonstration
This example illustrates the multi-hit capability of an OSG transparent armor, showing how residual visibility is maintained even after repeated impacts.
  • Ultra Long-Life Cycle Door Window
This truck cabin door window blends optical clarity with high protection and an ultra-long-life cycle (ADITM), featuring an anti-shock sealing gasket.
  • Driver‘s Vision Block – Heavy Caliber Impact
A striking exhibit showing a driver’s vision block that has absorbed the impact of a medium-caliber machine gun, while preserving the system’s protective integrity.
  • Helicopter Ballistic Window
OSG provides cockpit and crew-protection solutions for rotary-wing platforms. These transparencies are designed to protect pilots from ground-based ballistic threats while maintaining safety-critical visibility during landing and takeoff.
  • CeraLite Lightweight Transparent Armor
CeraLite represents OSG’s advanced, lightweight protection technology, reducing armor weight by 40–60 percent while maintaining certified ballistic protection levels.

Engineering Advanced Protection

Transparent armor plays a unique role in vehicle protection. It must provide the same level of ballistic resistance as opaque armor while maintaining clear visibility for operators.

Achieving this balance requires careful integration of materials science, optical performance, structural design, and manufacturing processes.

OSG’s engineering teams develop complete glazing systems, from ballistic composition design to framing, heating systems, coatings, and integration with vehicle structures. The company’s system approach includes design, R&D, prototyping, testing, production, and lifecycle support.

Ballistic performance and durability are validated through extensive internal testing. OSG operates dedicated ballistic laboratories capable of evaluating glazing against multiple international standards, including STANAG 4569, ATPD-2352, NIJ, TL, EN-1063, IDF 98-633 and other ballistic requirements.

This in-house capability allows rapid development cycles and close cooperation with vehicle OEMs during the design and qualification phases.

Trusted Partner for Defense OEMs

Vehicle manufacturers and defense integrators choose OSG for several key reasons:

Operational Experience
OSG glazing systems have been deployed across dozens of military vehicle programs worldwide, providing extensive field experience.

System-Level Integration
OSG delivers complete glazing systems that integrate armor, frames, coatings, heating systems, and structural vehicle interfaces.

Advanced Materials and Technologies
From long-life Adi transparent armor technologies to lightweight ceramic-based solutions such as CeraLite, OSG continuously develops materials that reduce weight while maintaining protection.

Global Manufacturing and Support
With production facilities and offices across multiple regions, OSG supports international programs with consistent quality and responsive service.

Close Collaboration with Partners
Many OSG solutions are developed in direct cooperation with vehicle manufacturers, enabling optimized integration into new platforms and upgrades to existing fleets.

Meet the OSG Team

OSG will be represented at Eurosatory by a team of engineers and program managers with direct experience in transparent armor development and qualification. They are available throughout the exhibition to discuss technical requirements, program needs, and integration challenges with vehicle manufacturers, defense integrators, and procurement representatives.

The team brings expertise across multiple areas of transparent armor engineering, including ballistic composition design, structural and framing integration, lightweight solutions, and the testing and qualification processes required by different national standards. This combination of engineering depth and program experience allows OSG’s team to engage substantively at both the technical and procurement levels.

Whether you are evaluating glazing solutions for a new vehicle program, considering an upgrade to an existing platform, or looking to understand the options available for a specific protection requirement, the OSG team is prepared to have that conversation at the stand.

OSG is exhibiting at Eurosatory 2026 from 15 to 19 June at Paris-Nord Villepinte. We are located at Hall 6, booth CD311. To arrange a meeting or request a technical briefing ahead of the show, contact OSG
